Larus fuscus x argenteus?

Is a small L. a. argentatus ruled out by the primary pattern? A thickish bright red orbital ring was apparent on this petite adult (see below). My best guess is some kind of Herring Gull x Lesser Black-backed Gull hybrid (most likely L. a. argenteus x L. f. graellsii).
