Larus cachinnans?

Above: 2nd winter/3rd calendar year (Essex, 13 March 2010)

Possibly a Caspian, or more likely a lean Herring Gull? From what can be seen of it, the mantle looks rather too pale (as do the coverts) for Caspian. No better views were obtained.
