Larus argentatus argentatus/argenteus?

Above: 1st summer/2nd calendar year (Essex, 25 September 2010)

Not quite a Caspian Gull, though easily mistaken for one. A very bleached individual with no evidence of winter moult having commenced in the mantle, scapulars, coverts or tertials; yet some very fresh-looking primaries..
