Not wholly convinced this is a (pure) michie, but the bright red orbital ring and intensely coloured bill (which, even for this individual's petite size, is relatively deep and blunt-ended) suggest it is better catalogued here rather than as an argie (or certainly a cachie). Perhaps an eastern female, given the small size and primary pattern (note the wholly white tip to P10) - or is that clutching at straws?
