Red-vented Bulbul
Pycnonotus cafer
A grey background for a grey bird - at least when the vivid red vent is not on show. Red-vented Bulbuls are less noisy and gregarious than their White-cheeked cousins, often to be found foraging quietly in the undergrowth and on the ground.
