OK, so it's a truly terrible image, even for a so-called 'record shot'. But after years of searching and dipping all over Eastern Europe, Israel and Egypt, this was my very first. A bogey bird laid to rest. No, THE bogey bird. And now a lifer! Unblocked! And so it deserves a place in my annals. It proved to be one of three rather distant birds today.
