Lesser Kestrel
Falco naumanni

(Above) Irkayya Farm, Qatar, 24 April 2013 (EOS 7D, 300mm f2.8 + 2x Extender)

Up to 40 (yes, forty) Lesser Kestrels were hunting over the fields today. Quite a sight, especially when they were en masse bringing their prey of large locusts down onto the tracks to consume.
