(Above) Umm Bab, Qatar, 27 March 2013 (EOS 7D, 300mm f2.8 + 2x Extender)

A very bronze individual that was particularly striking in the field. Perhaps like Desert Lark and Short-toed Lark, the overall colouration is adapted to suit the native (breeding?) habitat.
