Steppe Grey Shrike? I'm not at all convinced that this is a Southern Grey Shrike of the local form L. m. aucheri. Note:
Although the pallor of the upperparts is not striking, the structure and visible plumage of this bird fits Steppe Grey Shrike (L. (m.) pallidirostris) much more closely. Compare the primary projection, supercilium, extent of dark lores and primary patch of the individual above with this one and this one too - both of which show the short primary projection, lack of an obvious supercilium and discrete small primary patch typical of aucheri.
