This clear pallidirotris was one of a 'quintet' of fine Shrikes in the park this morning, being accompanied by the long-staying - and vociferously singing - Long-tailed Shrike, two gorgeously-plumaged Daurian Shrikes and a Southern Grey (aucheri) Shrike. Unfortunately, my 7D is malfunctioning, so all I had to hand by way of a camera was my little Sony compact.
