(Rufous-tailed) Rock Thrush
Monticola saxatilis

(Above) Irkayya Farm, Qatar, 23 February 2013 (EOS 7D, 300mm f2.8 + 2x Extender)

We found a female Blue Rock Thrush on a wire, looked away, looked back again and this female Rock thrush was sitting in its place. It took a few moments before both birds came into view at the same time, affirming our 'two bird theory'.
