'Nordic' Jackdaw (C. m. monedula)

Four Jackdaws appeared one evening in Bushy Park in April 2002. All four showed striking, well-defined white half-collars. Only one was found the next day and subsequently. That individual is shown above, in different light conditions. The collar was obvious at all angles in all lights (rather than a reflection or refraction of bright sunlight).
